Volume 1: Song of Months of Demons ( edit) It covers the misfortune of Witch Cooperation Association, first signs of inner conflict between princes and nobles of the Kingdom of Graycastle and Church's plotting to weaken all Four Kingdoms. It focuses on Cheng Yan's adaptation to prince Roland's role and preparation for the defense of Border Town during his first Months of Demons. The first volume contains chapters from 1 to 88 and has 88 chapters in total. This was the same in chapters where character who’s feelings were described were not a POV character, because the true POV character was making assumptions of that character’s feelings. While characters have explained past events without quotations, they were not necessarily a POV character due to the real POV character retelling the story in their own mind for the reader. Characters on this list had at least a paragraph of internal thought and perceive events through their eyes. The character who is giving their point of view of the events in the chapter. If the area had no nearby cities and was not in Graycastle, then the location was just the countries name. If the area was unspecified and the character are traveling, then the location would be either the starting or ending point (whichever is closer). Location does not refer to specific buildings or landmarks but the closest city to the events. The area where the events of the chapter took place.
